Old Sturbridge Academy Charter Public School’s mission is provide k-8 students with rigorous, real world learning experiences in a supportive and nurturing school community, helping all students to become reflective inquisitors, articulate communicators, critical thinkers, and skilled problem solvers.
OSACPS is a charter school that will reach its grades k-8 maturity in 2022. In the first year, the school will open grades k-3, educating 160 scholars who live in Central Massachusetts: Brimfield, Brookfield, Holland, Monson, North Brookfield, Palmer, Southbridge, Spencer-East Brookfield, Sturbridge, Tantasqua/Union 61, Wales, and Webster. We are one of 152 EL Education (EL) schools nation-wide and one of nine EL schools in Massachusetts. EL is a non-profit organization devoted to providing network schools with a highly-respected model of comprehensive school reform with emphasis on high achievement through active learning, character growth, and teamwork.
