Special Education Parent Advisory Council

​(SEPAC)

SEPAC's Mission Statement:

The mission of the Old Sturbridge Academy Charter Public School Special Education Parent Advisory Council otherwise known as SEPAC is to work for the understanding of and respect of all children with and without disabilities in the school setting and into the community. To that end, SEPAC shall empower, inform and provide resources to parents, educators, students, and professionals involved with children with special needs. SEPAC shall support and foster relationships of the children and staff at OSA through fundraising, events, volunteering, and creating and or advising on policies.
   
The SEPAC will establish understanding and communication between parents/guardians and school officials, advise on special education programs, training and policy, promote communication and programs within OSA, act as a liaison between families and administration, and encourage acceptance and inclusion through all aspects of the student's day to day life.
